My brother and my dad are here visiting, yay! They made my computer happier (although the upcoming reformat will make it even better) *and* they bought me a new monitor and video card, as both of my old ones were completely fried. So I have a very suave new black monitor. *pets* Unfortunately my computer is only recognizing half the memory capacity of the new stick my brother brought, so we gotta figure out what's up with that.

We've decided on a photographer and a florist for the wedding! Yaaaaaay! We also went to a cake tasting yesterday. Loved the cake (mmmm, banana), reeeeeally didn't like the guy who was "helping" us. I'm going to try and get an appointment with one of the people who actually makes and decorates the cakes there, so they can maybe give me some useful information. And set up a few more cake appointments because hey-- free cake!

No new Alias and no new Red vs Blue tonight. And not even any SVU until 10:30. I am bereft. Whatever shall we do? Maybe a viewing of Troy is in order...

But my old memory stick says PC133 on it.

certain types of PC133 are backwards compat... others are not. I have a mix of 133 and 100 in my dads computer and his only supports 100. We went through several 133s that only registered partially before we found some that were fully compatible.
