No Pirates for me today; I have to stay at work till 6. Le sigh. On that note,
1. When Jack and Elizabeth were stuck on the island and drinking, and then the next morning she threw all the rum in the fire, and he asked why (so cute!), I wanted one of the reasons to be that she had a terrible hangover.
2. At the end, I really really reallyreallyreally wanted Will and Elizabeth to jump over the wall, too, and go be pirates. Why be respectable when you can be a PIRATE!? Silly pickles.

Walking in the hall at work, I saw a box labled "Refrigerate, DO NOT FREEZE." This was helpfully accompanied by a little picture of a penguin with an X through it. I'm really not sure of the point of that-- if you can't read English, I think that picture's more likely to convey "Do not put a penguin in this box" than "Do not freeze."

The left shift key on this keyboard is nonfunctional, which has led to the interesting realization that I *only* hit the shift key with my left hand. Shift key with the left, space bar with the right. Having to shift with my right hand is really slowing me down.

I finally filled out paperwork so I can get paid for this summer. Yay for money.

In our production of the Buffy musical, the cast of 10 consists of 4 married or engaged couples and 2 other people, but none of the couples are actually couples on the show. We have Giles and Willow, Xander and Dawn, Tara and Lorne (yes, Lorne's in our production, just go with it), and Anya and Spike (okay, they had a fling on the show, once). If we had our original Buffy, then we'd be a cast of five couples, but she had to drop out of the production.

I really, really, really need a Pirates icon.
