Aug. 16th, 2003 10:02 pmLawd, what is UP!? In the past week we've had no less than THREE fangirls declare that they're going to make the rainbow dress as their first sewing project EVER!!!11!!!1
Yeah, good luck with that.
On that note, cosplay.com posted their pics from the Comic-Con Masquerade photo shoot. You can see pics of my dress (rather washed out-- all those bright lights!) by clicking here and going to page 7 of the drop-down menu. Be sure to check out all the other costumes, too-- there were some great ones!
Edited to add:
Dunc also took some great pics of my dress at GenCon, when I put it on to show off for CJ. You can find them here.

I've just realized I never posted *your* pics of my dress to my LJ. Will rectify that now.

Date: 2003-08-16 08:30 pm (UTC)I've just been crowned a Queen of the Rainbow Dress over in our thread on the costume boards. Am definitely v. popular among...um...geeky SW costume re-creators. Go me?

Date: 2003-08-16 08:38 pm (UTC)Well, if you must be crowned Queen of something by SW fans, at least it's something worth the effort. :D You know, skills you can apply to the real world and all.
