Lawd, what is UP!? In the past week we've had no less than THREE fangirls declare that they're going to make the rainbow dress as their first sewing project EVER!!!11!!!1

On that note, cosplay.com posted their pics from the Comic-Con Masquerade photo shoot. You can see pics of my dress (rather washed out-- all those bright lights!) by clicking here and going to page 7 of the drop-down menu. Be sure to check out all the other costumes, too-- there were some great ones!

Yes, some of the costumes were v. v. scary. The One Ring Circus people were really fun, though.

A lot of people...umm... dressed in spandex who shouldn't be. See, [i]I[/i] understand that us fat chicks shouldn't be running around dressed as superheros... Why can't they? Make a nice elf dress or something instead!

I've just been crowned a Queen of the Rainbow Dress over in our thread on the costume boards. Am definitely v. popular among...um...geeky SW costume re-creators. Go me?

I remember one of the times they dragged us to an EMU baseball team, they had the dance team doing stuff on the sidelines... All those girls, in damn good shape, looked awful in skintight spandex. Even the cheerleaders looked better.

Well, if you must be crowned Queen of something by SW fans, at least it's something worth the effort. :D You know, skills you can apply to the real world and all.

And I don't know what's up with all the little newbies wanting that as their very first sewing project either. I hope they all have someone very skilled to help them.
