absolutely losing my mind

jainaMy mom sent me a sweet little card in the mail today, along with a check for my new skates (they're my Christmas gift, very belated since I took forever to actually buy the damn things). I remember reading it as I walked in the door.
I cannot find it. I've turned the apartment upside down. I've looked in the microwave. I've looked under the couch cushions. I checked under the sink. Nothing. Nada. I cannot fathom where this thing could have gone.
The apartment is not that big! I don't understand. :( Hopefully I'll find it when I wake up tomorrow?
Why my brain has gone bye-bye?
ETA: Found it. It was with a bunch of stuff destined for my scrapbooking box. Oy.
