*coughs, sputters, tries not to choke*
Aug. 15th, 2005 04:46 pmPeople, you need to be less funny. It's no good for me to be snickering through my last days of lab, even if the boss isn't around. Aight, if you haven't seen them yet, some BSG funnies:
As if
meyerlemon's cracktastically awesome fic where Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson show up on Caprica instead of the pyramid team wasn't enough, I got linked to
queenofthorns' Lee!Cap where she said the following re: the pyramid team:
I am kind of astonished that these people have managed to survive so long, despite several gracious attempts to re-educate me this weekend which stressed that athletes are physically fit and capable of strategic planning. (I just have a hard time imagining following Manny Ramirez anywhere, OK? Although I give you Papi andJesus Johnny Damon because they led us Red Sox fans to the Promised Land victory.)
And dear lord, I think I broke something I was laughing so hard. Every time I think I have it under control I start imagining the Red Sox fighting the Cylons and I start giggling all over again. This is NO GOOD.
On the plus side, it's stopped me giggling over the beginning of the third episode of S1 Atlantis which I just watched on Saturday, when Sheppard threw Rodney over the balcony. *Everything* about that scene was gold. Rodney and Shep's total glee at the whole situation ("Oh, that's not the first thing we tried." "I shot him!") and Elizabeth's utter horror as she realizes that she's stuck with two twelve-year-olds in charge of the military and science arms of her expedition. Oh, see, there I go again giggling at it. *imagines Red Sox on Caprica* DAMMIT!
