A true *squee* moment

schneck128 . We went to the Fashion District to go fabric shopping yesterday afternoon (which was fabulous fabulous) and then she drove me down Hollywood Boulevard, since I'd never been there. It was really slow going, and we were wondering why. Then we saw it-- the road was down to one lane, because some sort of band was playing on the sidewalk in front of the Kodak Theater and they had a whole area roped off. As we got closer, we rolled down the windows to listen and I tried to figure out who it was. Suddenly I realized-- to the great amusement of the nice policeman keeping an eye on the traffic-- "Oh my God! That's Clay from American Idol!" Apparently he was filming the video for his new single "Invisible" there. And we drove right past it! It was very cool. He's much more adorable in real life than he looks in photos.
So yay (and squee!). I saw (and heard!) Clay Aiken. Go me.
