I just read this awesome-- I don't even know what to call it! It's like a MST3K parody of a crazy Harmonian* post, but done in the style of "The Word" from the Colbert Report. FUNNY!

I don't need past events or actions to tell me why characters behave the way they do. I don't live in the past. I believe in the here and now, in the moment. When Harry and Hermione fly across the sky on a hippogriff, I don't need the text to know that deep down, Harry knows that soaring feeling is from finding his soul mate, and Hermione’s emotions are running along similar lines.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

* "Harmonians" refers to the psycho subset of Harry/Hermione shippers who are flat-out convinced that the last few books are all dirty lies and misinformation, and JKR will show her true colors in Book 7 and get rid of that slutwhoretramp Ginny, so Harry can be with his True Ideal Romantic Love, Hermione. Yes, really.

Ah, gotcha. While not as side-splitting as the parody, it's still got me going "WTF?" and ::facepalm:: alternately. ;) I mean, seriously. JK Rowlings will be a forgotten hack if MY ship doesn't come together? Oh man,

I can't wait 'til 7 is out and there's nothing left for them to hold out for. 'Cause seriously. Not. Gonna. Happen. (in canon). If they wanna get 'em together in fanfic, more power to 'em, but if they really think it's gonna happen in canon... ::shakes head::
