I HATE THE "CURSE"
Oct. 16th, 2003 09:29 pmI will never ever understand why people are so eager to believe in The Curse. (That goes for both the Red Sox and Cubs.) Does it just make it easier, to think, "Oh well, it's just the curse, it's not our fault"? Because I seriously can't understand it-- and I'm *sick to death* of hearing about it. Why blame fate, when there is a flesh-and-blood reason right in front of you? (I'm staring laser bolts through YOU, GRADY LITTLE YOU ASS.)
I had more to say, but I can't figure out how to say it. Suffice it to say this has been a terrible day, and the Sox losing has just been the capper.

Date: 2003-10-17 06:01 am (UTC)He'd pitched a good game. First pitch in the 8th and you could tell he was done. He was tired, he was getting sloppy, he looked like he needed a nap for Pete's sake.
WHY WAS HE LEFT ON THE MOUND!!!???
*sigh*
There were some excellent plays though. Incredible fielding. Incredible catches.
The game was lost based on pitching decisions. GRRRRRR!!!!!
