The name meme, from everyone on the flist:
1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.
Nope. Not that I know of, anyway.
2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?
Currently (not that we're planning on this anytime soon!), a boy would be Alec Daniel. Alec because I like it, Daniel for SirDan. Girl's names, I really like Faith (yes, like from Buffy) or Elisa, but
sirrogue has first dibs on a girl name.
3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?
Er. I have no idea. Mom?
qui_gon_d? Any input here?
4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?
I love my name! But when I was five I tried to change it to Katie, because no one could spell Caitlin.
5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly?
Lord, yes. *All* the time. There are at least several dozen possible variants on "Caitlin" (I once worked it out), and I've pretty much gotten them all. Even when I correct the person. Repeatedly. As for pronuncation, anyone whose first language isn't English tends to pronounce my name "Cat-leen."
