After the gorgeous, gorgeous Lumi we got on Days today, I just *had* to make an icon. It's not my best, but I think it does a decent job of capturing the essence of their scenes today.

Ten years in the making...this is going to be one hell of a story. (Yes, I watch Days of our Lives. But only for three characters. I fast-forward everyone else. What can I say? They hooked me young, and I've never been able to get away.)

Still floating on a cloud- Dena Higley rocks. Too bad I don't trust JERk not to mess it up for us. But for now, I'm still basking. Ali and Bry were amazing, they conveyed so much longing with every touch- no words even necessary. Beautiful acting.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high about a Lumi story...but oh, I want one, and *now* is the time if ever there was one. Have you been reading the spoilers?

Lol. Keyboard still not working- on MY machine. The motherboard is a total loss, I'm just hanging onto the machine til I can take out the hard drive. But my friend Debbie gave me her old computer, and I'm just grateful to be back in action. It's almost worse being able to see stuff, but not respond to it, than have no access at all. Much more frustrating.

Yes, I am totally spoiled for Days- it lets me know if I need to tune in or not. (No Lumi? I don't watch.) But I know JERk too well, I don't trust him, and I'm scared to get my hopes up, you know? How many times before has this team of writers and that headwriter in particular, yanked our chain? I'm understandably leery.

Dude. Lucas and Sami? Don't tell me these things, I haven't watched Days in years (Jen/Jack [Mark Valley's MY Jack] were my main reason for watching)... but Lucas and Sami. *bounces*

Yup, it looks like we oh-so-patient fans are finally going to get a Lucas/Sami story. Gee, it's only taken till their son turned *EIGHT*. (They've actually aged Will to around ten or so.) The rest of Days is a miserable mess right now-- the new headwriter decided what they really needed was a serial killer storyline to get rid of some much-beloved actors! ...yeah.

Mark Valley was the only Jack I knew, until I started watching again and saw Matt Ashford. Definitely two different portrayals, almost two different characters. *sigh* Recasts are so weird.

That's a beautiful icon. Sigh, I haven't been able to tape Days since school started because I've been so busy. But I'm almost kind of nervous about Lumi finally getting together. It's wierd.

Also I'm pissed that JERK is killing off most of my favorite characters.

And the whole hugeness of Second Chances freaks me out too.

:) Thanks. Right around now is when I'm *really* grateful to have a TiVo, because I don't have to remember to tape. It's also really easy to fastforward so I can see only the Lumi bits, and I don't have to watch *any* of the rest of the show. It's too painful to watch everyone being so sad.

SC is definitely getting enormous, and there are so many newbies (and oldbies) whose command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation is tenuous at best. At least they're enthusiastic...right? ;-)
