6. Lucy Lawless, she of the gorgeous accent and voice and self. She should always be blonde!

And now, shippy thoughts on Heroes' fall finale and Studio 60's Christmas episode:

First, Heroes. Am I crazy, or is there a serious Peter/Claire vibe going on? I'm liking it exceedingly. I dunno how old Peter's supposed to be on the show, but in Gilmore-land Jess should be 21 or 22, so the age difference isn't too skeevy. (Although yikes, I just checked imdb and the RL age difference is twelve years. *That* is a bit skeevy.) But whatever. Chemistry!

Second, Studio 60. I've been pretty lukewarm about the show, but sirrogue likes it so I've seen most of the episodes so far. But I'm now a dedicated viewer, because I am helpless before the prospect of babies. (And the adorably ridiculous men who want to be their daddies. Okay, just the one man. And one daddy. Whatever.) I mean seriously, who can resist this:

"I've been married twice before and I'm a recovering cocaine addict, and I know that's no woman's dream of a man - or of a father. Nonetheless I believe I'm falling in love with you. If you wanna run I understand. But you better get a good head start, 'cause I'm coming for you, Jordan. You should go ahead and chew that sandwich."

SERIOUSLY, people. I am swooning even now.

And with a crappy softball game and six excellent episodes of Justice League behind me, I'm going to bed.

"I'm coming for you, Jordan" is one of the best lines ever. I giggled like school girl. I've watched all the eps too because my mom loves her some Bradley Whitford, and I was a little skeptical at first, but I'm really starting to love it. I think Matthew Perry is really good in it... as is pretty much everyone else. It's definitely picking up.

And DEFINITELY a Claire/Peter vibe like crazy. I'd go for that. It kinda broke my heart when her friend Zack didn't remember anything, not even that they were friends. I keep reading on message boards that people hate Claire, but she's my favourite. No one ever likes who I like!

Matthew Perry is *excellent* in Studio 60. I feel like I would really, unabashedly love the show if Sorkin would just cut down on the preaching and Important Issues and just focus on the stuff that's actually interesting.

How the hell can people hate Claire? I love her! And it was awful when Zack didn't remember anything. :( Poor Claire has no one left! (Except Peter!)

But YES. Most definitely shippy feeling (and I am SO bummed that her cute/awesome friend doesn't remember anything anymore! I wanted her to go out with him)but even though the age difference is pervy, I'm liking Peter/Claire.

B and I were catching up on S60 last night... do love that show. Conversation went something like this:
B: Man, Aaron Sorking can write dialogue.
Me: Oh yeah.
B: George Lucas sucks at dialogue, but Aaron Sorkin is great.
Me: Well, George Lucas has a great imagination, and he can direct fight scenes. But dialogue is not his strong suit, no :)
