We just move the little sofa to the other side of the room, and put the tree in front of the balcony window. Makes it hard to get to the video shelf, but it's only for a couple weeks.

wait.. you got a tree! i think we are skipping the real tree this year and will use this 8-inch tall plastic tree that whitney's aunt gave her 8 years ago or so.. it's big enough to hold like 3 ornaments.
