La, my jazz shoes have arrived! I've been wearing them around all evening and they're quite comfy. I do so love Discount Dance Supply. (I did own a very nice pair of jazz shoes, but they went missing somewhere during sophomore year of college. Which was, god, six years ago.) And I stopped at the Goodwill on the way home and got a couple pairs of dance-y sweatpants that will do for now. So I am all set for jazz class to start on the 2nd, yay!

Christmas was good, but man, it really messed me up day-wise. I'm still not convinced it's Wednesday. And I refuse to acknowledge that there are two more days before the weekend. Don't wanna work. Wah.

ETA: Oooh! Oooh! There exists a Shayera-not-Hawkgirl action figure! MUST HAVE. *covets*

The only thing I don't like about Discount Dance Supply is that you can't try on the shoes first. Took two tries to get Ally's jazz shoes the right size, and we had to pay for all that shipping back and forth. GRRR. It was still cheaper than buying shoes locally, though. And Carly's ballet slippers fit perfectly on the first try. :)

Yeah, and that can really be a big downside. With these shoes I was pretty confident because I read all the reviews, and the consensus was that the shoes ran a bit small. So I got half a size bigger than I'd normally try, and they're perfect!
