Well that's good news! ABC News quoted the zoo as saying they had to put him down because they wouldn't be able to house him with the other polar bears.
There will definitely be no killing of Knut. It was just something demanded by animal rights freaks. But the Zoo denied it. Yes, poor Knut will have alot of problems when he has to be parted from his caretaker, but no, there will be no killing.
