Nov. 23rd, 2003 11:30 pmHave I not updated lately? I haven't, have I? Well, I will now. :)
I'm eternally thankful for my group of friends in grad school. We all got together on Saturday morning to do our physiology homework (essentially, "I don't have the time to teach you how calcium regulates the heart, so teach it to yourselves"), then went out to lunch. And later Debby came over and she took me out to dinner, then I fit her hobbit underskirt and chemise.
Today I pinned her bodice mockup together, and fit it when we went over to Debby and Dan's for dinner and gaming (and in the girls' cases, beading and crocheting) this afternoon. It's looking very good; I'm pretty pleased with myself. This will be my first go at a laced, boned (well, lightly boned) bodice.
I love scary, kickass Jack. I loved his death-look at Lindsey. I'm glad Lauren finally saw the light. And I loved Jack being forced to work with Crazy Uncle Arvin. I even tolerated Vaughn quite well.
But I saw the twist with Syd's prison-friend coming as soon as he was introduced. Been there, done that with Farscape's "Prayer" last year (and no doubt other movies and TV shows before that). And there was no Sark. Come on, JJ, you know you can do better than this.
Need to recopy my physiology homework, and then bed.
