OMG. YOU GUYS. I was waiting for the SYTYCD Vegas results show to come on, so I watched:

GLEE.

AND YOU GUYS. THIS SHOW. IT IS AMAZING.

WHY DID WE NEVER HAVE A SHOW CHOIR GLEE CLUB IN MY HIGH SCHOOL YOU GUYS. All the fun of musical theater and none of the bother of the acting scenes!

ALSO. The "Rehab" blue polka-dot dresses. I MUST HAVE ONE. Witness the awesomosity that is a show choir version of Amy Winehouse's "Rehab":

(Apparently there are a bunch of SYTYCD alums and auditionees in that number too, so, awesome! I wonder if Lauren got costume flashbacks to the Hairspray group dance?)

Aside from some overdone plottish things, I enjoyed the musical numbers, and too thought back to my "choir-tries-to-be-a-showchoir" days in high school. I miss them. But the musical numbers in Glee have promise! (plus, I can't get them out of my head!)

We immediately bought both songs off Itunes and I've been listening to them on repeat ever since. ;-)
