sirrogue's and my sixth wedding anniversary. Our present to each other was a new kitty friend for our Ginny-cat (and for us)!
Meet Parker:
That picture is Parker in a nutshell-- she's very curious and loves to climb and jump and see "what's up there." Her name at the Humane Society was Raven, but she's such a little cat burglar, her name couldn't be anything but Parker. She had Rogue wrapped around her little paw from the moment she jumped onto his shoulder and tried to climb on his head. She's sequestered in our second bathroom for now; introducing her to Ginny will be...interesting.
How high can I climb???

Date: 2010-10-11 11:38 pm (UTC)FWIW, when I got Marcus, I got all sorts of advice about "How To Introduce Your Cats" and ended up going with what my friend Laurie (who has four) said. "I just put them in together and eventually they figured it out." With Marcus and Jet, it was easy, I just opened the crate and let Marcus out and they were fine. It more or less worked with Sundae, too (though she lived in the mud room/porch until she had finished her antibiotics and the vet had cleared her for FeL/FIV, I don't know if Jet and Marcus ever realized she was there.) There was some hissyfacing and sulking and hiding from each other but they eventually worked things out. No blood.
