the brilliance of walker dining
Oct. 2nd, 2002 12:41 pmAn entree at Walker comes with a "vegetable and starch du jour."
Macaroni and cheese is classified as a "starch."
But you cannot get an entree with macaroni and cheese as your starch. If you want macaroni and cheese, you have to order it separately and pay $2.00 for it.
Is this not making sense to anyone else?

Date: 2002-10-08 10:38 pm (UTC)As many ways as my lovely university comes up with to suck our money out of our wallets, I gotta say the meal plans are pretty simple and easy to get along with. Mine: Pay a fixed amount as part of tuition, get 999 accesses to the dining commons per day.
Even the ones who have limited access (so many meals per week) get all-you-can-eat every time they go in.
