sparklies make everything better

I have this really weird urge to make something with tons of rhinestones and sequins and beading. Not even a recreation or anything, just-- something sparkly. (As if I don't have enough to do, these days! Eesh!)

I think this must be Kayne's fault. Either that or those damn Harry Potter plagiarists.

Edit: Oh crap. I think I want to make the MR Hindi Wedding Dress for next year. Because dammit, I *will* make Dragon*Con if it kills me. (well okay, if it actually kills me I wouldn't be able to get there. but you take my meaning.)

I wish I could go to DC next year, but with C4 AND Comic Con? No way. I'm aiming for 2008 D*C.

I'm hoping that if I start saving now, it'll be possible. Since it's over Labor Day weekend, I can hopefully take just one vacation day, or if I don't have any, then just leave Friday night and at least have Sat/Sun and Monday morning.
