nothing whatsoever to do with the election
Nov. 2nd, 2004 01:02 pmToday I am amused by scientific fights, carried out via competing research articles. One group publishes a paper that says, "We thought there might be a founder effect for this mutation, but there's not," then their rival group publishes another paper that says, "Haha dumb bitches, there is SO a founder effect! PWN3D!" and then the first group publishes again and says, "STFU n00bs, ur research SUX! You didn't look far enough out!" and it makes me laugh.
...okay look, when you're researching a horrendously boring paper you have to take your amusement where you can, all right?
(Okay, fine, elections-- there are TOO GODDAMN MANY propositions on the California ballot. Over two dozen between state and county. This "let the voters decide" business is really overrated.)
