A good birthday. And now it is Friday.

Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes, everyone! I had a marvelous birthday-- sirrogue took me to yummy yummy dinner at Outback, and then I bought myself Order 66 and read for the rest of the evening. Because nothing says birthday like characters dying! (This is not a spoiler. I haven't finished it yet. I'm just saying, it's Order 66, not The Fluffy Happy Sparkly Clones and Jedi Party. No one is going to fake their death-by-melting and then secretly escape Oz Coruscant. Probably. You never do know with Karen Traviss.)

Also, Rogue bought me book 4 of Dresden Files and S1 of Sarah Connor Chronicles, so I'm pretty set, fictionally speaking.

Dresden Files is a great series, happy reading! I was bummed when he went to hardcover, means longer wait for new books :(

Yeah, I kind of did things backwards and read the most recent book first? (Well, listened to it on CD. In my defense, I didn't *know* it was the most recent book.) So now I'm reading the early books and going "Where is everybody???" I was ecstatic when Michael showed up in book 3!
